Been busy today! I should really do a site update log of everything I’ve been working on because I’ve done a decent amount since the last time I posted there. A bit of remodeling and reorganizing. I remodel the site pretty often. Too often probably but I enjoy it so I that’s the main thing.

I’ve become more conscious of my visitors as of recent and decided it was time to put up a landing page. My site should for the most part be safe if kids stumble upon it, but in the off chance I post something that’s more adult oriented, I figured it was time to put something up that lets people know this site is not intended for children and not to enter if you’re under the age of 18. But let’s be honest lol, it won’t stop them. I know when I was a kid it wouldn’t have stopped me from going where I wanted to go. But on my part it just feels more responsible as an adult. Parents can’t one day come to my site and get mad at me for what I post on here that they caught their kid snooping through when their kid had to confirm they’re 18 in order to enter the site. If you don’t agree that you’re 18+, it closes the window. So at that point, it’s on them to deal with their kids for snooping in places they knew they shouldn’t, so at least I’ve done my part in helping to keep them safe. I’ve also gone ahead and added an additional rule to the Free Speech Ring and The Book Ring that they are 18+ rings, since members might have NSFW content on their sites. This was a rule I should have added since the very beginning, but it didn’t really cross my mind up until recently as I’ve started realizing just how many minors are actually part of the small web. Better late than never though. It’s something I’ll be more conscious of in the future.
