Long day at work. Venting post. I work with a coworker who has some very serious control issues that I think I might have to pull her aside and talk to her about it on Monday. It’s gotten to the point I dread working with her because I’m tired of being walked all over and treated so poorly by her. There can be many ways to get a job done, but she’s the kind of person where if it isn’t done exactly her way, then it’s wrong. She’s also very verbally abusive and I’ve just had enough. She isn’t even management or a superior in any way, she has the exact same position I have, yet she is so disrespectful. I wish I didn’t have to work with people who were like this. It’s not the first time I’ve worked with people who have a superiority complex, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I don’t like having to get confrontational but I feel like I need to start sticking up for myself and make it clear to people that I’m not their punching bag. I don’t know what kind of trauma you went through growing up, but damn, please go work on it and heal it because everyone around you doesn’t deserve to suffer with you because you’re miserable.
