Been working incredibly hard on my Facebook group and Tumblr pages the past few days. I’ve finally figured out how to auto post from my wordpress blog to my Facebook and Tumblr pages, so I have that all set up now. I’ve already scheduled about a month of posts on Facebook before I figured out how to do that though, which is fine. But I would like to try and schedule enough posts to make it til the end of the year, which I think I could probably accomplish within a couple of weeks. I’m going to have a really busy couple of months come the summer, going through a major life transition. We’ll be moving the end of August, we’re having our first home built this year, plus we are going to be road tripping to the USA directly after that, then when we come back we’ll need to get established with new jobs. There’s just a lot that we need to prepare and save up for this year, and I won’t be able to be as active for awhile when that time comes. What I’m setting up on my smallweb subdomain is essentially a marketing campaign to try and boost up the Small Web across social media, hopefully it’ll fall in front of people who have never discovered it before. I’ve learned a decent amount about social media marketing over the years through my various business ventures, and this is something I’m passionate about so I might as well put those skills to good use. It is my personal contribution to the movement. I enjoy it, and I feel like I’m accomplishing something, which feels fulfilling.
