Been hibernating like a bear these past few days. I’ve pretty well only left bed to go pee and refill my water. Hubby brought home a cold, which I always end up catching when he does, which he always catches from his boss, who catches it from his kids. 🥲 If it weren’t for him getting sick I’d probably hardly ever get sick. What sucks though is once I do get sick, it takes awhile for me to get up and going again. He must have a stronger immune system than me because he was pretty much good to go after a day. 🤣 Meanwhile, I had a fever and chills for about 2 days and am still in rough shape on day 3. I am going to try and go to work tomorrow, will feel it out in the morning. My boss was really sweet and told me if I need another day to just call in the morning. I’m kind of thankful if it was going to happen that it happened now. My birthday is in a little over a week and I should be all healed up by then. 😊

Hubby is picking up one of my Tamagotchi Connection pre-orders today!! I got the translucent pink and melonsoda shells – I am absolutely obsessed. 🤩 I have been collecting tamagotchis since the early 2000s. I actually ‘hacked’ my first tamagotchi. 😆 I didn’t do it very well though and now it doesn’t work that well either but I scratched something internally that made it so I could and character I wanted. It works but I just wasn’t careful enough and it dies really fast even with a fresh battery. I really don’t care about resell value for that one anyways. It was my very first one and will always be too sentimental to part with. Side note, I have also toyed with the idea of making a Tamagotchi webring for everyone part of the fandom. I already host 2 webrings, what’s one more? 🤣🥲 I have held off because with the old webring systems I had it would have been far too much work but… now that I’ve recently changed my webring systems over to onionring, I think I could manage more webrings if I wanted to. Especially if I could automate the directory listings so people could add themselves to the webring directories and all I’d have to do is approve or reject, it would make the process that much more streamlined, allowing me more time to allocate into other things.

Anyhow, maybe I’ll get to it someday. For now, I think I need to go take another nap. Maybe try to eat something. 🥲
