Small update on the Fairyloot situation… hubby encouraged me to go for it since I was on the waitlist for so long, so I caved and got it. 🙂 I’ll consider this my monthly splurge in our budget. Any books I don’t end up keeping from the subscription I’ll just sell on Ebay. Fairyloot book boxes usually resale for quite a bit on Ebay, especially for books that are popular because they’re in such high demand.
Anyways, I’m so happy I was able to get it after all. ♥ I should get the first one sometime next month.

In other updates, I’ve been working on my site like crazy the past few days, restructuring some things. I won’t say too much on that because that’s what the Town’s Bulletin Board is for, but in summary, both of my webrings received major updates, all of my buttons have been remade, some changes to the front page have been done, and I’m also currently in the process of restructuring the Town’s Resident Services section and modifying it to become a better resource area. I’m also in the process of getting a couple other subdomains set up and running, but trying to focus on getting Resident Services finished up before I dive into those projects. Also need to sort out what I’m going to do with the Library at Marigold town as I’ll be changing things up quite a bit.

I started training as a supervisor at my work a couple weeks ago. 🙂 So far I feel it’s going well and hasn’t been too stressful learning at all. I’m enjoying that it’s something different. Sadly, it doesn’t come with a real pay raise, which is disappointing. Additional responsibility with a supervisor position absolutely should come with a pay raise, but I don’t make the rules. I’m just glad it secures more weekly hours for me and I get to do something different. It is hopefully only going to be temporary anyways. I’ll be there for about another year, and then we’re planning to move and get our first home in a new city. I’m not sure if I’ll get a transfer yet or if I’ll just apply for a new job once we move. Part of me would really like to find a new job in a supervisor role elsewhere if I can and just use this time as experience building for that. There’s another part of me that would really just like to be a stay at home wife, but with the price of everything rising, I’m not sure how feasible that would be. I’d also like for us to save up and get solar panels for our future house so we can eventually cut a lot of our monthly costs and be somewhat self sufficient when it comes to energy. As much as I’d like to be a stay at home wife, that will probably have to wait until we get some of the bigger things we want and need paid for.
