This kind of reminds me of the glass half full or half empty psychology. People who aren’t healed will probably look at the first sentence as though it means you used to care for people but now you have to watch your back, while healed people would likely understand it as the opposite, that they used to watch their backs with people but now they take care of other people. Which way did you interpret it?
